Roundhouse, Hall Street

I went and visited the roundhouse on North Hall Street; there is very little left, but there is clear evidence of such a structure existing up this way.

  2. There appears to be another roundhouse, though slightly smaller, at the southern end of the rail yard across the Hall Street from the one you highlighted. google map these coordinates:

    1. I think the N&S location is more of a turntable for the three stalls in the building housing BIG mechanical work rather than as a categorization as a "roundhouse."
      A roundhouse is typically for "light" mechanical work and storage.
