Abandoned Farmstead, Washington Township and a Rough Winter
The last winter has inflicted a great amount of damage on the abandoned farmhouse east of Washington, Illinois.A reader informed me that a tornado wiped out the corncrib, and it looks like another barn is gone as well. The house itself looks to have lost some structural integrity. It's shocking how overgrown the whole area has become, compared to earlier pictures of the house.
A Blog detailing the beauty of St. Louis architecture and the buildup of residue-or character-that accumulates over the course of time.
