Anyone Need Five Million Square Feet? The Abandoned Chrysler Plant, Fenton, Missouri

It was interesting looking at the Chrysler Plant up close, as I had never done so in the past. What a massive structure, sitting amidst the see of concrete, already starting to choke with weeds as the lack of activity settles over the area. I know nothing about the different parts of an automobile factory, so the pictures stand on their own, a testament to the former powerhouse of manufacturing.

  1. Drove by there today and noticed the big iconic bulb shaped water tower (or whatever it is/was, and visible in a few of your pix here) laying on it's side and being slowly demolished by some giant bulldozer looking machine.
