This old school building served southwest Kirkwood for many years before being shuttered many years ago.Unfortunately, I saw a "Future Home of..." sign in the front yard, so I am afraid this little gem's days might be numbered.
That's fantastic news; too often I cynically think that "redevelopment" means "demolition" in St. Louis. I hope the renovation is successful, and they enjoy the building far into the future.

Unfortunately, I saw a "Future Home of..." sign in the front yard, so I am afraid this little gem's days might be numbered.
I think the building is going to be renovated to be a church. As I understand it, they love the building and want to convert it to meet their needs.
