Wehrenberg Sculpture, Jamestown Mall
No one knows who designed this sculpture, or even its real name.But decades of stoned teenagers have come to know it as the "Wehrenberg Sculpture" after its similarity to the letter W.It cuts a thin profile as well. What will happen to this sculpture if the mall is shuttered?

Living in Kirkwood, I rarely have need to venture North of the Airport and, while aware of Jamestown Mall (and its travails), I've never been there.
ReplyDeleteThis sculpture is an eyeopener! I looked for some info on it and discovered that there are (were?) many more modern sculptures there - pretty cool! Mabe I will have to pack a lunch and take a drive up thar.
