Abandoned Stuckey's, Goodfield, Illinois

My continued documentation of the abandoned Stuckey's Diner at the intersection of I-74 and IL-117 in Goodfield, Illinois brought me back a couple of weeks ago.A new chain has replaced the old rusty one, and there are some small signs that someone has been doing maintenance. I have a feeling this building will remain vacant for a long time, unfortunately.

  1. This Stuckey's was demolished today (March 9, 2011). Those of us who live nearby are very happy to see it go...but we wonder what is going to take its place.

  3. I was about to say "Wait a minute, I just saw it still standing on Sunday!", but then I realized that it was just demolished yesterday. Thanks for the head's up.
