Isadore Shank Building on Delmar

I think the architecture of Isadore Shank is one of the fortunate gifts that St. Louis can continue to enjoy for centuries to come, provided that its beauty is appreciated and protected. One of my favorite buildings is the oft-ignored DeBalievere Building. Architect Andrew Raimist explains its significance here.Read more about Shank and his works here. His residence designed by himself, is now owned by one of his sons.
Another son owns another Shank house.
