Why should they put it there when Bohemian Hill was there ripe for the picking to be bulldozed for another non-existent supermarket?
ReplyDeleteGrocery stores tend to take on the character of adjacent low income neighborhoods and become 2nd class stores. (dirty, poor selection, and customers that yell at their kids, for example.) Higher income people usually don't like to shop in such conditions and are willing to drive several miles (away from poor neighborhoods) for a 1st class shopping experience.
