Lone Tower, Midtown

What is the deal with this building on Lindell? Is this one of the remaining buildings from Laclede Town?

That building was a completely separate development from Laclede Town. It was built in 1967 as Heritage House, a retirement community for teachers. I believe it is still a retirement center.

Here is a photo of it under construction with Laclede Town in the background:

Heritage House was built by the Public Schools Retirement System and designed by Schwartz and Van Hoefen.
