ReplyDeleteCity around the time of the World's Fair in 1904. The fair buildings are the large fan shaped array in the western half of Forest Park. Also, the Parkview subdivision, which is northwest of the park was platted in 1905, and does not yet show up on the map.
Ah, you have a sharp eye; I was wondering why the World' Fair buildings were still being shown. I think I got the 1912 date from the provider of the map.
