Backwards Clock

Does anybody know where this is and why it's backwards? I want to see if you can figure it out.

  1. I've seen backwards clocks for barber shops before. But this one doesn't have the numbers printed backwards so I'm not sure what it would be for. Can't wait to hear the answer!

  3. It's the back of the "next cruise" clock for the Gateway Riverboat Cruises.

  4. Ah! So there isn't a clock movement, just a clock face and hands. The person who sets the next cruse time does it from this side, and it's labeled so they don't set it incorrectly.
