Photo #1 - the pylon must have some massive foundations to have survived seemingly totally perpendicular for ? years. That thing must weigh several tons. The portion of the cemetery presented is immaculate!
I just noticed the pylon is to the memory of "Stormer;" same name as the sawmillman statue presented a couple of days ago. He must have been quite a mover and shaker there.

ReplyDeleteYes, that whole precinct of the cemetery seems to be owned by the Stormers, and many graves line the path between the statue and monument.
