Due to a severe floods out west in the late 20's or early 30's, caused Missouri Pacific to use money set aside for the new building to be used to rebuild bridges.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136582055438505991.post-52011464443406778222012-06-10T17:00:47.860-05:002012-06-10T17:00:47.860-05:00For what its worth, I worked in the Missouri Pacif...For what its worth, I worked in the Missouri Pacific Railroad Building from Jan. 1987 until Aug. of 2004 when everything was transfered to Omaha, Ne. Remember, in modern day America if you have to walk more than a block from your car to your destination, it's considered a long distance. Sad but true. Look at shopping malls: part of the reason they're failing is people don't want to have to walk so far from their car to the stores.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064334959354090683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136582055438505991.post-70105815721826060172012-02-10T10:06:09.241-06:002012-02-10T10:06:09.241-06:003 blocks from the Peabody Opera House and 3 1/2 fr...3 blocks from the Peabody Opera House and 3 1/2 from Scottrade.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136582055438505991.post-88255885453142854512012-02-10T08:27:04.617-06:002012-02-10T08:27:04.617-06:00Yes, this building is totally isolated from attrac...Yes, this building is totally isolated from attractions.
